''..We have good and bad news for you.

First the bad ones: It now appears that Kerstin Bischof unfortunately can´t be the permanent new singer of Xandria. Due to occupational and private reasons she wants to concentrate on her non-musical career in the future and cannot support Xandria the way it would be necessary. We wish her all the best for the future!

So here and now we are searching for a new singer again, details for applications follow in a few days on our official homepage.

We know that you are waiting for a new album, and we are very sorry for keeping you waiting even longer for the new songs, with which we actually wanted to enter the recording studio now.

The good news is that we will play the coming concerts nevertheless, cause our old singer Lisa Middelhauve has agreed to step in for them. But she will not enter the band again, so this will be an unexpected last opportunity for many fans to experience her on stage with Xandria once more!

Primero la mala: ahora parece que Kerstin Bischof lamentablemente no puede ser la nueva cantante permanente de Xandria. Debido a motivos profesionales y privados, ella quiere concentrarse en su carrera no musical en el futuro por lo que no puede apoyar a Xandria de la manera que sería necesario para la banda. ¡Le deseamos todo lo mejor para el futuro!

En el canal oficial de Youtube de Xandria, se subieron dos nuevos videos de la banda en Dubai:

y en el blog oficial, la banda escribió un comunicado sobre la cancelación del Festival en Dubai:

''
As we have read in several e-mails, there is some confusion concerning the circumstances that lead to the cancellation of our show at the Friday 13th Festival in Dubai, last weekend.

This is the situation that we experienced that night:
We were supposed to perform at midnight as the last band of the evening. Once we got to the festival site at 9:00pm, we were informed that there was already a delay in the time schedule. To make a long story short: Eventually we were supposed to perform at 2:00am and we were just preparing for the show when our sound engineer came backstage to tell us that the police just stopped the festival because of noise disturbance.

We were not aware of the fact that there had been no proper explanation to the audience!!!

We feel very sorry for everyone who was looking forward to our show - we know from your emails that some of you have travelled long distances to the festival just to see Xandria!
And we also feel sorry for our collegues of Rico Blanco, who had to stop their show earlier than planned.
We will be back as soon as possible to perform for you and hope that we will meet again without any of the unlucky incidents that the date of Friday the 13th obviously still has to offer...

''Como hemos leído en varios emails, hay algunas confusiones con respecto a las circunstancias que llevaron a la cancelación de nuestro show el viernes 13 en Dubai, fin de semana pasado.

Esta es la situación que experimentamos esa noche: Supuestamente ibamos a ser última banda de la noche para tocar. Una vez que nosotros llegamos al lugar del festival a las 9:00pm, nos informaron que había una demora en el horario programado. Para resumir: Finalmente nos pospusieron para realizar el show a las 2:00am y nosotros acababamos de preparararnos para el show cuando nuestro ingeniero de sonido vino a decirnos detrás del telón que la policía paró el festival por causa del alborotante ruido.

¡No nos enteramos que no hubo alguna explicación apropiada para el público!!!

¡Nos sentimos muy apenados por todos los que esperaban nuestro show - sabemos por sus correos electrónicos que algunos de ustedes viajaron desde lejos al festival solo para ver a Xandria! Y nosotros también compadecemos a nuestros colegas de Rico Blanco, que tuvieron que parar su show antes de lo planeado. Regresaremos a tocar tan pronto como sea posible y esperamos verlos otra vez sin ningún tipo de incidente de mala suerte que la fecha del viernes 13 obviamente todavía tiene que ofrecer...
